Keepers of the Flame (Kohtoo)
In a sacred ceremony of the Comanche people, the firekeeper tends the flame through the night. He cannot let the fire go out. He cannot sleep. He endures. Today, 18,000 Comanche citizens carry that flame, a heritage woven into the story of us all. Tʉitua is here to keep it burning for generations to come.
Established by the Comanche Nation
A Lasting Source of Help (Tʉitua)

In 2025, the Comanche Nation established the Tʉitua Foundation by resolution as the Nation’s official 501(c)(3) public charity. The Tʉitua Foundation will fund education, youth programs, veterans’ associations, elder programs, and the preservation and advancement of Comanche culture. Every gift will be documented and used to benefit the Comanche Nation.
